The Timberson Legacy- Chapter 7

Screenshot-463

Pretty soon, Barbie met up with her boyfriend.

“It’s been a while,” Elisha whispered to her.

“I know I shouldn’t have kept you waiting,” Barbie said, “but I’m here now”.

Points to anyone who gets the reference. :P

Screenshot-464 “Elisha, you could let go now,” she said.

Screenshot-466She popped the question in no time. I think I might have been more shocked than Elisha. My daughter purposing? She was just 17 a few years ago! Man, the years are flying by fast. Then that means I’m -Screenshot-468“Of course! Honey, I’ve been waiting for you to get out of high school so I could marry you!”

Screenshot-473 They decided to have a private wedding. Elisha moved in, and then Barbie and Elisha went to their room….

Screenshot-382

With all this wedding stuff going on, I practically forgot about poor Brighton. He found Amanda Simovitch, a quiet young lady.

And truthfully, it looks like I don’t have much pictures of him so far. :\

 Screenshot-480

That Amanda girl was a bit odd. She slept on our porch. This was especially weird because she lived in a nice house. She had a functional family. She was a junior in high school, while Brighton was just a freshman. She could’ve find a boy her age. I wonder what’s with all her strange behavior.

Screenshot-483 Still, it was sweet to see Brighton be in love.

Screenshot-477 One day, I noticed Barbie wearing something… different. It was clothes big for her. Could she be pregnant? So soon?

Screenshot-372Yup, turns out she was pregnant.

Screenshot-484

Her pregnancy went by fast. Before I knew it, I was going to be a grandma!

Screenshot-486As we walked her into the hospital, it was obvious she was nervous for motherhood. I was too. I hoped they wouldn’t move out. Sure, the house was getting crowded, but still, we could’ve make room. I remember when I walked into the hospital with her, for the first time…

Screenshot-488Welcome to the world, Carter Timberson! I was already a grandma!

Screenshot-490Barbie gave Carter a nursery, and then went back to her priorities.

Screenshot-489

“I have to work out! I have to look good, to get my beach body back! I need a promotion!” she exclaimed while exercising.

“But, sweetie, there aren’t any beaches here in Riverview. We’re landlocked, remember? Besides, you already have a man. Shouldn’t you look after Carter?” I could tell she wasn’t going to be the best mom.

“Well, then what are you guys here for? Isn’t that the grandparents job?”

Suddenly, I changed my thoughts. Maybe if they moved out, it wouldn’t be so bad…

Screenshot-493Meanwhile, Bijou found herself a nice boy, named Lonnie. His parents were frequently at Sunset Valley, negotiating business deals with the Altos, so he stayed over a lot.

Screenshot-495

Billy and I were the ones taking care of Carter more than Barbie and Elisha. Heck, even Bijou and Brighton lent a hand more often! Case in point: Billy and I were the ones to throw Carter a birthday party.

Screenshot-496 Barbie and Elisha still came for the party, however. I guess they wanted to have some part in their child’s life.

Screenshot-501Carter looked like both his mom and dad. He had his dad’s skin tone, and both of their hair. Screenshot-504Elisha turned out to be a better parent than Barbie. Once, he was teaching Carter how to walk. However, he got a phone call, and had to leave to work. Businessmen these days.

The Timberson Legacy: Chapter 6

Screenshot-401

Barbie started dating. Here she is with Elisha Smith.

Screenshot-403

Though she’d come back way past curfew. I was worried sick! Although my monster like expression showed more anger, I felt worried that my beloved daughter was out with a boy we barely knew.

Screenshot-405

Though she eventually schmoozed her way out of getting lectured. It’s like she grew up and became a Schmoozer. Well, she did, so yeah. And I’d have an upload link, but EA just had to cull our Sims. Anyone else notice how it sounds like kill with a U? :/

Screenshot-400

And Brighton’s toddler hood went by fast! He already was going to become a child. No, I don’t have any specific CAS pictures of Brighton as a child, so we’ll have to deal with the in game ones.

Screenshot-407

Brighton loved his new room and playing chess. His dream was to become a grand master in chess. I wasn’t sure how a 5 year old would know such things. TV these days…

Screenshot-408

His friendship with Bijou was continuing. I loved not seeing my kids fight each other.

Screenshot-431

Brighton also loved to go out in town. Maybe that’s why he was so close with Bijou.

Screenshot-386

Bijou and Barbie were still good friends.

Screenshot-390

However, Barbie still tried to fit some workout time in her schedule, if she wanted to become an athlete.Screenshot-424And I got a promotion! So, we decided to give our little home a makeover.

Screenshot-416

It featured an actual kitchen, since I was a cook.Screenshot-419 And here’s a side view of the living room.

Screenshot-420

And an aerial view.

Screenshot-422

Bijou loved the new kitchen. “Mommy, thanks! Now I could bring friends over! We could have family dinners!”, she told me one night.

“It’s no big deal,” I said.

Screenshot-428

The next day, it was already her birthday. She brought friends from school over and had an actual party.

Screenshot-432Sadly, I forgot to take a CAS picture. She looks pretty much like Barbie, except with different hair.

Screenshot-433

Even though we were bringing in lots of money now, we still only had one television.

“Mom, why can’t we have more TVs?” Brighton asked curiously one day. “I mean, we could afford it, right?”

“Well, if we get a TV for everyone, then we won’t watch it together, and we’ll grow apart.”

“That’s a stupid reason,” he mumbled.

Hey! don’t say that!” I yelled. “Now go to your room.”

I felt bad for yelling at him, but I felt like it had to be done. I mean, I didn’t want the family to be separated. A family which watches Sim Idol stays together, right?

Screenshot-435

The next day, at work I got a promotion. I was thrilled to fulfill lifetime want.

Screenshot-440

This is what Barbie wore to her part time job at the spa. I was worried she was too busy, with a boyfriend, family, job, school, and her own personal wants.

Screenshot-441

Barbie was very athletic. She bought a treadmill with all of the money she made from work.

Screenshot-446

She even loved getting the rest of us in shape.

Screenshot-451

Barbie and Bijou still hung out with each other, even if Barbie was Athletic and Bijou was a Couch Potato.

Screenshot-442

Bijou herself was having dreams of composing music. She began to be interested in guitar, and was abandoning the television.

Screenshot-449

“Billy…?” I one day asked at breakfast.

“Yeah?” he answered.

“It’s Barbie’s birthday in a few days. You know that, right?”

“Yeah, of course.”

“Do you know what she wants to be?”

“Yeah, a superstar athlete.”

It was quiet again.

“Billy…?”

“What is it this time?”

“Do you know if she’s going to… move out?”

“Of course she’s… uh-oh.”

“What uh-oh?”

“Where will she go to? That Elisha boy’s house?”

“I don’t know. That’s why I asked.”

Screenshot-453

The next day was Barbie’s birthday. It looks like we had to face our fears and worries. I tried to tell myself not to worry. I mean, she has a good head on her shoulders. She’ll do fine in the real world.

Screenshot-456 Screenshot-458

This is what she looks like. Except with different hair and her eyes are open.

With the first Young Adult of Generation 2, will things change? Will Barbie move out and pursue her athletics, or stay with her family?

The Timberson Legacy: Chapter 4

 Screenshot-196

Billy was great with Bijou.

Screenshot-198

While I was at work, and Billy was painting or performing, Barbie was by herself. Most of the time, she would just play with her favorite stuffed animal.

Screenshot-199

Billy was frequently painting, for some spare cash.

Screenshot-208

Likewise, I was writing novels for some Simoleons, too.

Screenshot-216

And this is a close-up of Barbie as a child. If I could make a guess for what Alice looked as a child, I’d say this fits. Just with her eyes.

Screenshot-215

And she even has her highlights, which is easier to tell here.

Screenshot-223

Occasionally, Billy would go to the bar for some tips. However, he wasn’t well received. The girl in front of him just put the stereo on.

Screenshot-220

I loved to play with Bijou. It made me feel sad that she was getting lonely.

Screenshot-224

Sometimes, I would even play tag with Barbie.

Screenshot-234

Barbie frequently came home from school and would sit on the lawn and just do her homework. You can’t get anymore devoted than that!

Screenshot-235

DON’T LOOK BEHIND YOU, BARBIE! IT’S YOUR ARCH NEMESIS!!!!

That joke would’ve make more sense with 1.3. Basically, that woman was a horrible babysitter.

Screenshot-237

Sometimes, the paper boy would come in and play. Once I asked him if he had to go to school. He told me “What’s your point? You’re lucky I’m giving you free papers!”, then left.

Screenshot-242

Once, Barbie went to the local (And I use this word loosely) pool.

Screenshot-243

Looks like she went during Adult Swim. She came home soon, and just in time.

Screenshot-252

It was already Bijou’s birthday. I quickly went to buy a cake for her, so that way she could have something to call her own, even if it’s for a day.

Screenshot-256

And here she is. She’s a couch potato and friendly, just for the record.

Screenshot-261

Once she was a toddler, she got more attention, mostly because she needed to learn how to walk, talk, and use the potty.

Screenshot-271

One Saturday morning, Barbie decided to go to the park, instead of watching the typical Saturday Morning Cartoons like her classmates.

Screenshot-275

I got a promotion once, and they gave me a free food processor.

Screenshot-281

We had enough money to remodel the house, and have an actual bathroom wall now.

Screenshot-279

Barbie was really friendly. She even made friends with the male mail woman, Lulu. What the mail woman was doing out at night, I don’t know.

Screenshot-283

She also played dolls with her sister, Bijou.Screenshot-290

And she also played peek-a-boo, too.

Screenshot-295

And before we knew it, Bijou had another birthday.

Screenshot-309

And in lack of a CAS picture, I’ll have this instead.

Screenshot-304

After her birthday, Billy came to me and told me something.

“Honey, I want another child.”

“Really?” I got stunned.

“Yes. I want a son. I wanted to have someone to have father-son moments with.”

“But we might not have enough money-”, I said.

“If we both get promotions, and if I paint and you write, we might have enough,” he whispered.

“I’ll think about it.”
