The Timberson Legacy: Chapter 10

“…Listen, Brighton? I have my hands full with the twins tonight. Can you try coming a bit early? You know, like not taking the traffic-heavy road." Amanda said on a phone call. She was extra busy with the twins.

Screenshot-737

Screenshot-735 “Hey, good job on taking care of the twins. I was worried they would be ignored, like their cousins,” I said. I praised her because she came from a non-family oriented family, and her own sister-in-laws which were actually family-oriented just ignored their own kids.

Screenshot-739Even if Brighton did help, however, the two were still busy with Candace and Cassie.

Screenshot-741 However, that didn’t mean they didn’t have some ‘adult time’.Screenshot-744Guess what time it is?

Screenshot-745That’s right, birthday time. *Gives cookie* Screenshot-747

Screenshot-749

Screenshot-748

What? You thought there wouldn’t be any drama? :PScreenshot-750 And here’s Cassie!… I don’t know what happened to Candace’s picture, though. She’s the same, with blonde eyebrows, basically.

Screenshot-751 I heard something from the bathroom. Amanda was on her knees, throwing up.

“Hurry up Amanda! I have to go to work soon! The car pool’s going to leave without me, you know.” Brighton said. For being a genius, Brighton wasn’t being so smart.

“Have you two been close lately?,” I asked him.

“Well, depends on what you mean by… oh.” Brighton said. He was a doctor, and he didn’t even realize what happened!

Screenshot-752

Since Amanda was pregnant, they gave her another few days off of work. She used these days to teach the toddlers their first lessons.

Screenshot-753

She took turns so neither of them would feel left out. Screenshot-755

Screenshot-758

As you can tell here, Candace loved playing with her stuffed animals.Screenshot-759

She would rather play with him then eat, sometimes!

Screenshot-754 Billy started painting Brighton’s portrait.

Screenshot-756

Amanda was keeping up with all of her favorite romance novels and soap operas.

Screenshot-757

And me? I just played computer games. Hey, I wasn’t about to become some ancient, out of touch granny, you know! Screenshot-762

Hey look, it’s Bijou! It’s nice to see some sisters-in-laws bonding.Screenshot-761

Amanda’s pregnancy was going by really fast. It looks like-

Screenshot-765 She was already due! Screenshot-763

Screenshot-764

As Amanda drove herself to the hospital, Brighton and I helped take care of the kids.

 Screenshot-766

And it’s a boy! His name is Corey. Screenshot-767

His childhood is boring, so let’s skip to toddlerhood! :D Screenshot-768 Here he is.

Screenshot-769

This is what he looks like with hair. He looks a lot like Brighton, in my opinion. Screenshot-771 Corey spam!

Screenshot-779End of spam. :P

Screenshot-772The kids were really tiring, especially on poor Amanda.

Screenshot-773

But things got better once Brighton, Billy or I would lend a hand. Screenshot-778

And here’s Barbie. She hasn’t really advanced that far in her career, and she’s still a minor leaguer. Screenshot-780

Candace also started developing a musical interest. She’d wake up her siblings by banging the xylophone in the middle of the night.

 Screenshot-785

Candace and Corey bonded a lot. They loved playing with blocks. Screenshot-791 They’d play hide and seek and Candace would hide behind her dollhouse! Screenshot-792

And it’s birthday time!

 Screenshot-793

I can’t believe how fast the twins were growing up.

Screenshot-794

What will Candace and Cassie look like? And where’s Billy? Screenshot-795 No, not a bar or club. Just at a library I downloaded off of Sims 3 Musketeers.

Screenshot-796 Screenshot-797

I really recommend that website.Screenshot-798

Candace as a child. I’ll be honest, I’m not really happy with the generation’s looks so far. And I lost Cassie’s picture. :X Screenshot-802

“Hey Brighton,” I asked, “you’re not going to move out, too, right?”

“Well, um…,” he stuttered, “I don’t know.”

“Oh, well, it would be a shame if this house would be empty once Billy and I, y’know…”

“Well, can’t you just find someone else to live here?”

“Listen Brighton, I don’t want you to leave. Please, please, stay here. I’ll make you heir of this legacy, and you could even narrate this legacy, if you want.”

“What do you mean, narra- oh,” he said, becoming aware of his surroundings. It appeared as if the four walls in his life shattered into pieces.

“Well, sure,” he said, “Just one more thing.”

“Okay, what is it?” I asked.

“It’s my turn to narrate,” he said.

“Okay, let me just say bye to everyone, and it was fun to be in charge, and thanks for reading this, and I’ll still be here in the house.”

With a new narrator/heir, and three kids, what will the house be like? Find out, next time.

The Timberson Legacy: Chapter 9

Screenshot-650

“I think it’s time,” Bijou said.

“Already? That was fast,” Lonnie said. He drove Bijou to the hospital immediately.

Screenshot-652

“Woah, it’s the blonde chick again!” a girl in a Mohawk said. I had a feeling she didn’t like our family.

Screenshot-653 “She’s pregnant, AGAIN!?! Geez, and she’s only 23,” the other one said.

Screenshot-654“AAHH! Then the town will be FILLED with blondes who don’t know what birth control is!,” both of them freaked out. I think they’re just jealous, though. It looks like they haven’t been asked out in a while.

Screenshot-655

And Bijou came out of the hospital later, carrying a beautiful baby girl, Chelsea.

Screenshot-656

Once Bijou came home, she put Chelsea straight in the crib. I frowned. Was this a result of bad parenting on my behalf?Screenshot-657Lonnie tried improving his parental image.

Screenshot-658 Moving back to Brighton, he and Amanda got close again. Seriously, what the heck is she wearing? She has a bride of Frankenstein hair-do, and then a black dress. Well, when Barbie and Amanda were both kids, once Barbie went to her house. And Amanda seriously just ignored Barbie the whole time, and instead watched the romance channel thing. Screenshot-659 He loved her. They were happy together.

Screenshot-661

And, then, Brighton proposed. Screenshot-662“Oh my gosh! This is just like when Trevor and Brittany hooked up in the episode where London gets married! Except we’re not at a wedding! And we’ve been together for a while! And, okay, so it’s not ‘just like’ it anymore. But… um... sure!” Amanda said. She was hopping around like crazy.

Screenshot-664

As you could see, they loved each other a lot. Screenshot-665

They got married in our kitchen. I want to know where all these outlandish choices are coming from. I wanted to plan a big wedding since we finally could afford it, and then Brighton and Amanda just swapped rings right in front of the grill. Screenshot-667 Wow. She looks way better now, yes? Screenshot-668

And here’s a full body shot.

Screenshot-670

I’m not exactly sure why I took this picture, but I think it was to show Brighton and Amanda’s new bedroom. It’s the red one.

Screenshot-671

And here’s Brighton playing chess. I became a soccer mom-ish figure. I was shouting and cheering at all of his games and all of those creeps he played with wondered who the ‘weirdo who gets obsessed with chess’ was.

Screenshot-673Why am I showing you this picture of Chelsea? No, she wasn't left her since like the 6th picture. It’s birthday time!

Screenshot-676

Only Amanda and Billy showed up at first. Screenshot-678Aw, grandchildren are adorable. Wait, is that me ignoring Chelsea in the background? I needed to clean up something! It’s not what it looks like!

Screenshot-679

And here’s a CAS shot of Chelsea as a toddler.

Screenshot-680

I <3 custom content.

 Screenshot-681

Even though she had a sister, she usually played by herself.

Screenshot-682 But sometimes, she wanted to play in the living room for attention.

Screenshot-689 Soon it was Carrie’s birthday.

Screenshot-690

It seemed like even though Bijou would be reading, Carrie would have to have her attention. Sometimes, she’d just sit next to her mom and play video games. She just wanted some kind of attention.

Screenshot-692 She did some schoolwork, too. Her mom wouldn’t praise her for that.

Screenshot-694

In the mean time, I found a new hobby- video games. I could be vacationing in the Sim-Bahamas, or looking for gold in mines, or I could be in outer space! It made baby-sitting fun.

Screenshot-695 Brighton continued to get promotions, as he wanted to become a famous doctor one day.

Screenshot-697 For some reason, Chelsea got more attention from her mom than Carrie did. She taught her how to talk, while Billy and I taught Carrie.

Screenshot-698 Well, Carrie got some attention from her dad, Lonnie. He told her how reading is important in politics, as you’d need to find loopholes in your opponent’s plans, and you’d have to read the newspaper daily.

Screenshot-701Screenshot-702

Seriously, they never did anything together. I found it even more interesting how they weren’t even looking in the same direction.

Screenshot-705

It was Chelsea’s birthday, and once again that ambiguous food is there.

Screenshot-707 This is what she looks like. Take a good look, because this might be the last time you’ll see her. She has her dad’s skin and hair color(Bijou’s isn’t so platinum blonde).

After the birthday, we went to bed, seeing as it was midnight. I thought I heard them leaving, but I was pretty sure it was just a dream. The next morning, I woke up all of Riverview with my crying. I picked up a letter Bijou left on her guitar. It said:

Dear Mom and Dad,

Don’t take it personal that we moved out. We just had separate parenting styles and we thought it would be better if we got our own place. I remember how sad you got with Barbie, so I wanted to make this as painless as possible. We got a house nearby, though, so you could visit. Besides, we thought the house was getting cramped, with eight Sims in the house. Since we could afford now, with our bigger paychecks, we decided it was time. You could still visit us, and I still love you,

Xoxoxo Bijou.

I felt like a complete monster! Why did I always have to ruin everything for my kids? Oh well, at least they’re happy now. Screenshot-710Besides, I could always have more grandkids, right? ;)

Screenshot-712 Billy wanted to work out in the household gym. He said he didn’t want to become a ‘wrinkly old dude’. Screenshot-714 Brighton still got promotions. I loved how he was a hard worker.

Screenshot-716 And my prediction was right! Amanda was expecting a child. Screenshot-717She got along well with Billy. She played the guitar, and he painted.

Screenshot-720

Amanda also played chess with Brighton.

Screenshot-721

She even dreamed about having a family. Screenshot-723

Wait, is that a mask? Could she possibly be a thief? Nah, maybe she’s just… dreaming about protecting her kids.

Screenshot-725

As you could see, Amanda passed through her pregnancy quickly.Screenshot-726

And apparently, too quickly! Her due date already came!

Screenshot-727She drove herself to the hospital using our car. She didn’t let us go to the hospital to see her. Daughter-in-laws these days.

Screenshot-730 Brighton went to be with her. Since he was in the medical career, he helped her out.

Screenshot-732Introducing Cassie and Candace Timberson (Yup, they’re twins. Brighton’s just holding the other one).

With Bijou and clan moved out, and Brighton married with twins, what will happen next? Stay tuned to find out.
