“I think it’s time,” Bijou said.
“Already? That was fast,” Lonnie said. He drove Bijou to the hospital immediately.
“Woah, it’s the blonde chick again!” a girl in a Mohawk said. I had a feeling she didn’t like our family.
“She’s pregnant, AGAIN!?! Geez, and she’s only 23,” the other one said.
“AAHH! Then the town will be FILLED with blondes who don’t know what birth control is!,” both of them freaked out. I think they’re just jealous, though. It looks like they haven’t been asked out in a while.
And Bijou came out of the hospital later, carrying a beautiful baby girl, Chelsea.
Once Bijou came home, she put Chelsea straight in the crib. I frowned. Was this a result of bad parenting on my behalf?Lonnie tried improving his parental image.
Moving back to Brighton, he and Amanda got close again. Seriously, what the heck is she wearing? She has a bride of Frankenstein hair-do, and then a black dress. Well, when Barbie and Amanda were both kids, once Barbie went to her house. And Amanda seriously just ignored Barbie the whole time, and instead watched the romance channel thing. He loved her. They were happy together.
And, then, Brighton proposed. “Oh my gosh! This is just like when Trevor and Brittany hooked up in the episode where London gets married! Except we’re not at a wedding! And we’ve been together for a while! And, okay, so it’s not ‘just like’ it anymore. But… um... sure!” Amanda said. She was hopping around like crazy.
As you could see, they loved each other a lot.
They got married in our kitchen. I want to know where all these outlandish choices are coming from. I wanted to plan a big wedding since we finally could afford it, and then Brighton and Amanda just swapped rings right in front of the grill. Wow. She looks way better now, yes?
And here’s a full body shot.
I’m not exactly sure why I took this picture, but I think it was to show Brighton and Amanda’s new bedroom. It’s the red one.
And here’s Brighton playing chess. I became a soccer mom-ish figure. I was shouting and cheering at all of his games and all of those creeps he played with wondered who the ‘weirdo who gets obsessed with chess’ was.
Why am I showing you this picture of Chelsea? No, she wasn't left her since like the 6th picture. It’s birthday time!
Only Amanda and Billy showed up at first. Aw, grandchildren are adorable. Wait, is that me ignoring Chelsea in the background? I needed to clean up something! It’s not what it looks like!
And here’s a CAS shot of Chelsea as a toddler.
I <3 custom content.
Even though she had a sister, she usually played by herself.
But sometimes, she wanted to play in the living room for attention.
Soon it was Carrie’s birthday.
It seemed like even though Bijou would be reading, Carrie would have to have her attention. Sometimes, she’d just sit next to her mom and play video games. She just wanted some kind of attention.
She did some schoolwork, too. Her mom wouldn’t praise her for that.
In the mean time, I found a new hobby- video games. I could be vacationing in the Sim-Bahamas, or looking for gold in mines, or I could be in outer space! It made baby-sitting fun.
Brighton continued to get promotions, as he wanted to become a famous doctor one day.
For some reason, Chelsea got more attention from her mom than Carrie did. She taught her how to talk, while Billy and I taught Carrie.
Well, Carrie got some attention from her dad, Lonnie. He told her how reading is important in politics, as you’d need to find loopholes in your opponent’s plans, and you’d have to read the newspaper daily.
Seriously, they never did anything together. I found it even more interesting how they weren’t even looking in the same direction.
It was Chelsea’s birthday, and once again that ambiguous food is there.
This is what she looks like. Take a good look, because this might be the last time you’ll see her. She has her dad’s skin and hair color(Bijou’s isn’t so platinum blonde).
After the birthday, we went to bed, seeing as it was midnight. I thought I heard them leaving, but I was pretty sure it was just a dream. The next morning, I woke up all of Riverview with my crying. I picked up a letter Bijou left on her guitar. It said:
Dear Mom and Dad,
Don’t take it personal that we moved out. We just had separate parenting styles and we thought it would be better if we got our own place. I remember how sad you got with Barbie, so I wanted to make this as painless as possible. We got a house nearby, though, so you could visit. Besides, we thought the house was getting cramped, with eight Sims in the house. Since we could afford now, with our bigger paychecks, we decided it was time. You could still visit us, and I still love you,
Xoxoxo Bijou.
I felt like a complete monster! Why did I always have to ruin everything for my kids? Oh well, at least they’re happy now. Besides, I could always have more grandkids, right? ;)
Billy wanted to work out in the household gym. He said he didn’t want to become a ‘wrinkly old dude’. Brighton still got promotions. I loved how he was a hard worker.
And my prediction was right! Amanda was expecting a child. She got along well with Billy. She played the guitar, and he painted.
Amanda also played chess with Brighton.
She even dreamed about having a family.
Wait, is that a mask? Could she possibly be a thief? Nah, maybe she’s just… dreaming about protecting her kids.
As you could see, Amanda passed through her pregnancy quickly.
And apparently, too quickly! Her due date already came!
She drove herself to the hospital using our car. She didn’t let us go to the hospital to see her. Daughter-in-laws these days.
Brighton went to be with her. Since he was in the medical career, he helped her out.
Introducing Cassie and Candace Timberson (Yup, they’re twins. Brighton’s just holding the other one).
With Bijou and clan moved out, and Brighton married with twins, what will happen next? Stay tuned to find out.
